1. Introduction

Welcome to Velvetspark, the venue management platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, protect, and share information when you use our Service. We collect your data to provide and improve what we offer. By using the Service, you're agreeing to how we handle information under this policy. The terms used here match those in our Terms and Conditions, which together with this policy form your full agreement with us.

2. Definitions

SERVICE is the Velvetspark website we operate. PERSONAL DATA means information about a living person that identifies them. USAGE DATA is collected automatically from your use of the Service—things like how long you spend on a page. COOKIES are small files stored on your device. DATA CONTROLLER determines why and how personal data gets processed. For this policy, we're the Data Controller of your information. DATA PROCESSORS (or SERVICE PROVIDERS) process data on our behalf. DATA SUBJECT is the living person whose data we're talking about. THE USER is you, the person using our Service—same as the Data Subject.

We collect different types of information to provide and improve our Service.

4. Types of Data Collected

We may contact you with newsletters, marketing materials, or information we think interests you. You can unsubscribe from these anytime. Usage Data. On mobile devices, we collect the device type, unique ID, operating system, and browser type. Tracking Cookies Data. We may also collect sex, age, date of birth, place of birth, passport details, citizenship, registration address, phone numbers, education and qualification details, employment agreements, NDAs, bonus and compensation info, marital status, family member names, social security or taxpayer ID, and office location.

We use collected data to provide and maintain the Service, notify you of changes, let you use interactive features, provide customer support, and improve our offerings. We analyze usage to detect and fix technical issues. The data helps us fulfill obligations from contracts, send billing notices, renewal reminders, and account instructions. You'll get news and special offers about similar goods and services unless you opt out. We use it for any other purpose you provide it for and with your consent for additional purposes.

6. Retention of Data

We keep your Personal Data only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. We hold onto it to meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Usage Data gets retained for internal analysis purposes. Generally, Usage Data is kept for a shorter time, except when it strengthens security or improves the Service, or when we're required by law to keep it longer.

Your data's security matters to us. Remember that no internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We use commercially acceptable methods to protect your Personal Data, but we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Data Protection Rights Under General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

You can withdraw your consent anytime where we rely on it to process your information. We may ask you to verify your identity before responding. Keep in mind we may not be able to provide the Service without certain necessary data. You can complain to a Data Protection Authority about our collection and use of your Personal Data. 11. Your Data Protection Rights under the California Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

CalOPPA was the first state law requiring commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. It applies to anyone in the US (and possibly worldwide) operating websites that collect personally identifiable information from California consumers. They must post a clear privacy policy stating what information is collected and who it's shared with, then follow it. We agree to the following: you can visit our site anonymously. Our Privacy Policy link includes the word Privacy and is easy to find on our homepage. We'll notify you of any policy changes on our Privacy Policy page. You can change your personal information by emailing info@velvetspark.space. We honor Do Not Track signals and don't track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track browser mechanism is active. Set this preference in your web browser's Preferences or Settings page.

12. Your Data Protection Rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

California residents can learn what data we collect, ask us to delete it, and request we don't sell or share it. Here's how to exercise your rights. You can ask what personal information we have about you. We'll tell you the categories of personal information we've collected, the sources we collected it from, why we collect or sell it, which third parties we share it with, and the specific pieces of personal information we have. We'll provide a list of categories we've sold along with which companies bought it, or confirm we haven't sold anything. We'll also list categories we've disclosed for business purposes and which companies received them. You can ask for this information up to twice per rolling twelve-month period. The information we provide covers the previous 12 months. You can ask us to delete your personal information. We'll delete what we hold as of your request and direct service providers to do the same. Deletion might happen through de-identification. Deleting your information may prevent you from using certain functions that require it. You can ask us to stop selling your personal information. We don't sell or rent your information to third parties for monetary consideration. However, some transfers to third parties or within our company without payment might count as a sale under California law. You own your Personal Data and can request disclosure or deletion anytime. If you ask us to stop selling it, we will. Keep in mind that deleting or stopping sales of your data may affect your experience and prevent you from using certain programs or membership services. We work with third party companies and individuals to help run our Service, perform related tasks, and analyze how it's used. They access your Personal Data only to do their job for us and can't disclose or use it for anything else.

We use third-party Service Providers to automate development of our Service.

16. Behavioural Re-marketing

We use re-marketing services to show you ads on third party websites after you visit our Service. We and our third-party vendors use cookies to decide which ads to show you based on your past visits.

Our Service includes links to sites we don't operate. Clicking a third party link takes you to that site. Review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We don't control or take responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party sites or services.

18. Children's Privacy

Our Services aren't for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If you find out a child gave us Personal Data, contact us. If we discover we've collected it from a child without parental consent, we remove it from our servers.

We update this Privacy Policy from time to time. New versions go on this page, and we'll notify you via email or a prominent notice on our Service before changes take effect. The effective date updates at the top. Review this policy periodically for changes. Updates are effective when posted.
